What is polymer clay?
Polymer clay is an extremely lightweight and flexible (yet durable) non-toxic material that is a type of clay (mainly used for modeling). All of my polymer clay earrings weigh just under an ounce/26 grams, so there is no tugging or pulling on the ears. Perfect for all day wear
What type of polymer clay do you use?
My accessories that are made out of clay are made with high quality polymer clay/materials. I always do a quality test after baking to make sure they are perfect to send out
What are the posts made of?
I have a few different posts that I use. I will always include the type of material used in the description. Some examples of posts I use are: stainless steel, nickel free, titanium, sterling silver, gold plated and gold filled (so they are perfect for sensitive ears!) I also offer a clip-on option as well. Some earrings offered will have a choice of what material you prefer. If you would like a clip-ons, please email me before placing your order. The price will slightly change and this will be put in as a reserved/custom order.
Some pairs are already completed and cannot be re-done, but if they do not have backings on and I have enough inventory, I will be happy to accommodate. The price will slightly change and this will be put in as a reserved/custom order.
Since I started, I have changed the way I back my earrings to make sure they are as secure as possible. If you ever have any issue with the posts, please feel free to reach out
How long does it take to complete a pair?
It depends! For clay pieces, on average, it takes about 4ish hours total. This includes: mixing and conditioning the clay, cutting shapes, baking, sanding, buffing, adding the hardware, etc...
What if I would like silver or gold jump-rings instead?
Feel free to reach out! I would be more than happy to customize if I have enough supplies

Shipping:
IGSD ships out of Long Island, New York. All shipping prices are based off of USPS rates. Shipping time: 1-3 business days from purchase. Please note that there are different options listed for shipping. Some options include tracking, while others do not. Worldwide shipping
Free shipping on all domestic orders $75 or more. Discount is automatically applied at checkout
Local Drop Off: please leave some form of contact (phone number and/or email). I will message you the date I will drop off and you will also be notified once it is dropped off at your door
IGSD is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items once your order has been shipped.
Please note that some destination countries may require additional taxes, customs and import duties and fees. (Although I have never had a customer experience these extra fees) All duties and fees are in the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, IGSD has no control over this.
Refunds/Shop Policies:
We will honor requests to cancel orders within two hours from purchase. We accept returns of unworn jewelry in its original packaging within a week of delivery. Please note that the buyer must pay for return shipping if a return is requested. We do not accept refunds of customized items.
Please handle items with care. Some items are fragile due to their delicate material. But sometimes, accidents happen! If there is any damage to your worn IGSD items, please email ivegotsunshinedesigns@gmail.com with a picture and description and we can do our best to replace (if possible/applicable) or repair your items.

Packaging:
All orders come in a black 5” x 7” recyclable box with: a pillow box, quality tissue paper, a business card, a jewelry polishing cloth (if needed), a written thank you note, care instructions, custom IGSD double sided earring cards, reusable plastic pouches, and (of course/most importantly) your goodies!!
Care: All orders come with a Care Instructions card
- do not wear in water (to ensure a long lasting life)
- store in a cool dry separate space
- for clay earrings, if dirty, gently clean with a soft damp cloth or a small amount of acetone with a Q-tip (unless it has a glaze on it, then please only use a polishing cloth)
- for precious metals & non-clay jewelry, use the small polishing cloth provided with your order to clean
- please do not bend. I always do a quality test before shipping out
- try to avoid using any perfumes/creams/aerosol/sanitizer products near the accessories
